Welcome to Seed Academy
Vision Statement
To provide a child-centered environment that promotes each child's social, emotional, intellectual, and creative development by offering a culture that prioritizes safety, trust, choice, and collaboration
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide individualized teaching and interventions to a variety of learners in a positive, enriched environment. Each student's needs are addressed individually through comprehensive teaching strategies implemented by highly qualified staff including 9 masters level practitioners. Seed Academy uses research supported interventions based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help each student to reach their potential.
We value students and families from all backgrounds. Seed welcomes students and families from all backgrounds and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national/ethnic origin, sex, disability, age, or any other categories protected by law. We are committed to providing an inclusive and respectful environment where students and families are treated with dignity.
Academic Focus
To provide rigorous, individualized instruction to students with Autism and other behavioral challenges while maintaining high expectations for academic achievement and independence. Evidence based instruction and data based planning is used to support students. Academic programming integrates functional academics, executive functioning skills, and communication skills to ensure students access grade level standards. Through small class sizes, best practices, and collaboration between teachers and related service providers, the school presents measurable goals and preparation for students to postsecondary opportunities and community involvement.
Seed Academy offers a variety of high-quality, year-round services for children with exceptional learning and behavioral needs. We have provided researched-based early interventions and therapies for Mid-South children since 2012. Our comprehensive services include learning center and home based therapies, parent training, social skills classes, education and outreach services to local schools. All curriculum and interventions are based in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). It is our belief that children with exceptional needs deserve positive experiences within inclusive spaces where they can develop confidence in their abilities in their own time
